title : Moved to my new residence
I’ve moved into my new residence for about 2 weeks now and I have settled in comfortably. The place is called a “KOST” or a “Kosan”, which translates to “lodging house”, the house is pretty large and deceptively big from the exterior, the interior has over 40 rooms! It’s like a hostel or a hall residence and very comparable to the university halls back home.

But it’s available for public depending on room availability; there are no “rules” on who or how many can stay in your room unlike a hostel in a university .

So there are small families, couples, friends, power-couples, working-class professionals all staying in this cosy Kosan and of course, myself.

Large parking area

I get free laundry service collected every day, free internet, air-conditioning, personal toilet with hot water, LCD TV, a cupboard, a queen-sized bed, a dressing table, and utilities are free (no electric or water bills), just the base rent.

LCD TV, Airconditiong

Pretty comfortable setup

free drinking water dispensers throughout the household

Many Warungs and restaurants around and even a 24hr KFC.
