title : Pasar Pramuka

Headed to Jakarta Pasar pramuka today, and I LOVE this place!

It’s basically a medical-supplies and pharmaceuticals whole-sale centre, a dream wet-market for doctor wannabes, or illicit medical practitioners.

There wheelchairs, stethoscopes, sphygmomanometers, medical solutions, hospital supplies, medical monitoring equipment, lab-coats, doctor’s-coats, latex gloves, everything!

Everything you might need to set up a small hospital or a clinic.
No X-rays, or MRIs sold here though. Just simple diagnostic devices and pharmaceuticals.

Buy buy buy! There was this shop selling various generic antibiotics and I was really tempted to buy a box of amoxicillin, one whole box of 100 amoxcillin tablets for only 32,500rp (S$4.70).

Jakarta Gramedia Matraman
After Pasar Pramuka, was Gramedia Matraman, the largest Gramedia store in Jakarta, the entire store encompasses a single 4-storey building itself, somewhat like a cross between popular, Harris and Borders. Untuk Pulang dari Gramedia Matraman bisa naik bis 948 langsung kosan saya.

Huh? Ages 7-97? What if I am 98 and I want to relive my child-hood experiences, or what if I am 6? Weird age restriction eh.
