title : Sarina Thamrin
Today's destination was Mall Hero Plaza Sarinah Thamrin along Jalan Thamrin, and passed by a few notable restaurants. Such as the Daoen sirih food garden as well as Sate khaus seneyan Jalan Jaksa, Kebon Sirih. (clickable Google Map locations)

Mall Sarinah Thamrin wasn’t all that spectacular; the most interesting thing would be the Manchester United Club as well as Sarinah emporium that offers many traditional Indonesian products, whole floors filled with Batik apparel, with Indonesian handicrafts and Indonesian-design furniture for sale.

It’s like walking into “Barang-Barang”, “British India” or even “Iwanttogohome” stores in Singapore. Very classy, expensive and elegant traditional Indonesian pieces for sale.

The prices are appropriately priced for the wealthy as well, well out of the range of my pocket.

But nevertheless, an interesting visit if you are bringing wealthy expatriates who want to purchase relatively good quality and reliable authentic Indonesian apparel or handicrafts.

I like candles..

I was tired by then, spending a couple of hours in Mac enjoying a meal and nursing a drink and my novel.

Now most of the novelties of Indonesia has worn off for me, now I just want to read a novel to pass the weekends.

Time to head home..
