Today I headed down to Ancol Dreamland possibly for the last time, passing by Festival beach for the first and last time.





I was headed to the local version of the underwater world here, possibly "Ocean Dream" or "seaworld" or something like that.

So "Ocean Dream Samudra" sounded like the likely place to visit an underwater aquarium, but boy was it disappointing!


Indo Popmie is very popular with the locals here

Probably the only redeeming attraction of the whole facility.


A rather entertaining skit about a pirate fight.



Ocean Dream Samudra features several animal shows, a small aquarium, and a 4D theater which is similar to Sentosa's "MAGIX 4D", projecting 3D movies with periodic air-jets and rocking seats located inside a large building with Mesoamerican pyramid theme.

It was somewhat entertaining, the video wasn't too bad either.



The rest of the park was plain boring..

A really really tiny and dismal aquarium with barely legible descriptions.
